With 27 million people being trafficked and people dying of thirst all over the world, it’s easy to become discouraged. How can we get excited about feeding one person or even one community in the face of rampant injustice? “It means all the difference to just bring freedom to that one person,” Mike Hogan, the Northwest Director of Church Mobilization for International Justice Mission. It’s our responsibility to show up to do what God has called us to do, but under his sovereignty it’s actually his responsibility to see that justice is carried out. Our calling is to bring our resources and time and energy to God and let him do the rest. “You can be faithful, bring that to God, and God will be the one that will take what you offer and be the one to magnify it.”
