Ken Wytsma :: Why isn’t there more racial diversity in the church?

  • “There is a ton of racial diversity in the universal church,” says Ken Wytsma, President of Kilns College and founder of The Justice Conference. “However, that diversity is not reflected in church services.” The reason racial diversity is not present on Sunday mornings is that social norms and styles differ from culture to culture. While our American model of church is more style-based than geographic, there is no reason why we as a body should not increase our commitment to diversity.
