Ken Wytsma :: What steps can I take to live justly?

  • There are many ways to begin living more justly, but where should we start? The first step is reading books. “You’re never going to get good at anything without a coach,” according to Ken Wytsma, Founder of The Justice Conference and Pastor of Antioch Church in Bend, OR. reading books allows you to be mentored and discipled by someone who is more knowledgeable and experienced than you. The second step is to try to find the justice issues that you are blind to. Finally, the third step is to reconnect our understanding of justice with righteousness. We need to develop a “robust picture of justice that helps us embrace it as part of our faith, not some kind of secondary or peripheral part of our faith.”
