Ken Wytsma :: What does Jesus mean when he says don’t worry?

  • Humans require a certain minimum of food, shelter and clothing to sustain our existence. In Matthew 6, Jesus is telling us not to worry about our bare minimum needs. “God will provide that minimum,” says Ken Wytsma, Pastor of Antioch Church and Founder of The Justice Conference. We all get overwhelmed, but God wants us to lean on him, rather than panic. “My worrying here isn’t going to help anything, and it also shows a little bit of a lack of trust that God really is leading me.”
