Ken Wytsma :: What are the long-term results of a secular society?

  • Secular society is pruning more and more objective values and morality out of our worldview…where is it going? The illogical thinking is, “The more we get rid of objective standards, the better we’ll get along,” according to Ken Wytsma, Founder of The Justice Conference and President of Kilns College. “I think there’s a faulty premise there.” Ultimately, if we remove values and morality from our culture, it will produce self-centered, immoral people. “It misses the point in saying somehow less guidance and less moral direction and less value-based thinking is going to produce stronger, value-based people that you’d want to be hanging out with in society.”
