Ken Wytsma :: Why did God let Adam and Eve sin?

  • “The answer’s going to go one of two ways,” responds Ken Wytsma, President of Kilns College and Pastor of Antioch Church in Bend, OR. The “free will” answer requires that Adam and Eve have the ability to choose, making disobedience a necessary option. The more Calvinist option is that God knew they would sin, and it was “dictated” that God’s plan of redemption could move forward. “I always think truth is in the messy middle.”
