Eugene Cho :: What challenges did you face as an Asian American?

  • “I struggled a lot with identity,” says Eugene Cho, Author, Founder of One Day’s Wages, and Pastor of Quest Church in Seattle. Eugene’s family immigrated to the US when he was six, and adjusting to life in the US was difficult. “Growing up in San Francisco, I can’t tell you the number of times people said to me, ‘Go back home.’” However, when he returned to Korea in the 8th grade, people in Korea told him the same thing: go back home. “I realized that I’ll never really be fully at home anywhere.”
