Accountability groups are very useful in some situations, but only have limited effectiveness in others. People can begin hiding their mistakes or redefining their mistakes so they don’t have to report them. Others simply continue to sin and alleviate their guilt by reporting it at the accountability group. “Accountability is really good after the sin…protective love can grab my life before the sin.”
